Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney with at least 3+ years experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience handling asylum cases, removal proceedings, and other forms of humanitarian immigration relief before USCIS and Immigration Court.

This position is ideal for a motivated attorney who is passionate about defending immigrant rights and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in Immigration Court removal proceedings;
Handle affirmative and defensive asylum applications;
Prepare and litigate cases involving cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, waivers, CAT claims, and related relief;
Conduct client consultations and case strategy meetings;
Draft legal briefs, motions, declarations, and supporting documentation;
Appear before EOIR, USCIS, and related agencies;
Manage a caseload independently while collaborating with legal support staff;
Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely filings.

Qualifications:

J.D. or LLM from an accredited law school;
Active bar license in good standing;
Minimum 3+ years of immigration law experience handling asylum and removal defense cases;
Immigration Court experience strongly preferred;
Excellent legal writing, litigation, and oral advocacy skills;
Ability to manage deadlines and high-volume caseloads.
