Immigration Paralegal
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Prepare, review, and file employment-based immigration applications, including I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status (AOS), and DS-260 applications.
· Maintain consistent communication with clients, guiding them through the immigration process while ensuring timely responses and adherence to deadlines.
· Draft, review, and revise all required immigration forms and supporting documentation prior to attorney review.
· Monitor case progress and follow up with appropriate immigration agencies to track status and submit required inquiries.
· Respond to client and employee inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
· Prepare and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other government correspondence.
· Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical case files in compliance with firm and regulatory standards.
· Stay current on immigration laws, regulations, and compliance procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
· Assist with administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, and assembling filing packages.
· Collaborate effectively with intake specialists, legal assistants, and other team members to support case processing.
· Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members as needed.
Qualifications:
· 4-7 Years of BUSINESS IMMIGRATION experience.
· Associate's degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
· Experience with I-140 petitions, Adjustment of Status applications, and Consular Processing (DS-260 applications).
· Experience in PERM is a plus.
· Knowledge and experience in handling Immigration Issues.
· Proficiency in Form Preparation and related administrative processes.
· Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
· Proficiency in relevant software and tools for case management and documentation.
· Fluency in Spanish is desired but not required.
· Must have relevant references in business immigration.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
