Grape Law Firm, PLLC is looking for a talented colleague for the “Senior Business Immigration Paralegal” position. Grape Law is a New York-based, young, and dynamic law firm dedicated to helping immigrants worldwide navigate the immigration process and obtain citizenship.
We are seeking a highly experienced, detail-oriented Senior Business Immigration Paralegal to join our legal team. This role is primarily focused on final review and quality control of business immigration filings before submission. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with employment-based immigration matters, is exceptionally organized, and has a sharp eye for catching inconsistencies, missing items, formatting issues, and other small but critical errors.
This is not a strategy-heavy role. Instead, this position is best suited for a senior paralegal who takes pride in reviewing final application packages, confirming form accuracy, ensuring exhibits are properly organized, and helping the team submit clean, complete, and consistent filings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct final pre-filing review of business immigration petitions and application packages for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and presentation.
- Review USCIS and related government forms to confirm that entries are correct, internally consistent, and aligned with supporting evidence.
- Verify that exhibits are complete, properly labeled, correctly ordered, and cross-referenced appropriately within the filing package.
- Identify clerical, factual, formatting, and documentary issues before filing, including missing signatures, incorrect dates, inconsistent responses, duplicate documents, and exhibit gaps.
- Ensure each filing package follows firm standards, case-specific instructions, and applicable filing requirements.
- Perform quality control review of cover letters, support letters, forms, and supporting documentation for grammar, formatting, and overall coherence.
- Confirm that final packages are organized for efficient attorney review and submission.
- Communicate review comments clearly and efficiently to paralegals, case preparers, and attorneys, and follow through to confirm corrections are made.
- Flag legal or strategic issues to the supervising attorney when a matter goes beyond quality control or requires substantive review.
- Support continuous improvement of internal quality control procedures, checklists, templates, and filing standards.
Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of recent, full-time experience as a paralegal in U.S. business immigration.
- Strong hands-on familiarity with employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant filings, supporting evidence, and final package assembly.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot small inconsistencies and errors across forms, source documents, and exhibits.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing final filings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission.
- Excellent written English, including strong proofreading, grammar, and formatting skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining precision and meeting deadlines.
- Sound judgment in distinguishing routine filing issues from matters that should be escalated to an attorney.
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working with case management systems, document platforms, and remote collaboration tools.
- Ability to work independently within a structured review process and collaborate effectively with attorneys and case teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing complex business immigration matters and high-document-volume filing packages.
- Prior experience in a final review, audit, or quality control focused role within an immigration practice.
- Turkish language proficiency is a plus.
