About the Position
We are currently hiring an Immigration Attorney to join our in office legal team. This position is ideal for a skilled immigration attorney who is ready to take on a leadership role overseeing case strategy, guiding staff, and advocating for clients in high-stakes matters.
The attorney will work closely with the firm’s leadership to maintain quality standards, resolve complex legal issues, and foster a productive, positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a personal caseload of diverse immigration matters, with a strong focus on litigation
- Supervise and mentor associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
- Review and approve filings to ensure legal accuracy and consistency with firm standards
- Assist with developing case strategy for complex matters, including EOIR and USCIS filings
- Conduct regular check-ins and provide feedback to legal team members
- Support ongoing training and foster professional development within the team
- Maintain strong client communication and contribute to a client-centered environment
- Collaborate with firm leadership on improving workflow, best practices, and efficiency
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice law in Texas, or immediately eligible for admission
- Significant experience in immigration law, including removal defense and family/employment-based petitions
- Demonstrated experience in litigation before immigration courts and agencies.
- Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to mentoring others
- Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not required
