THE POSITION

This position will be a part of the employment based immigration team working alongside other experienced attorneys and paralegals/legal assistants helping our hospitals, schools, and professional services organizations hire the best in the world.
We are hiring for a full time Associate Attorney to work in our Albuquerque office. This position requires someone who cares for the community we serve, has good attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills. The position also requires 2-5 years of employment-based immigration experience (PERM, H-1B, I-140 including Schedule A, J-1 Waivers).

Mission of the Position
Take charge of employment-based caseload with efficiency and quality in a team comprised of other attorneys and paralegals.

- Independently prepare quality submissions in affirmative filings before USCIS
- Effectively handle interviews before USCIS in consultation with other attorneys

- Establish professional profiles, online presence, and contacts with referral sources

Full Time
The position is full time, Monday-Friday. This is not a remote position.
Experience
2 years experience in employment-based immigration. We primarily handle and require experience in the following:
- H-1B
- PERM
- I-140 (PERM-based)
- I-140 Schedule A
- J-1 Waivers
- R-1/I-360
- O-1 (primarily scientists and physicians)
- EB-1 (primarily scientists and physicians)
- EB-2 NIW/PNIW (primarily scientists and physicians)
We do not handle and do not require experience in L-1, E-1/2, H-2A/B, EB-5.
