Immigration Attorney – Full Time (Hybrid)

SanLaurent Law Group is seeking a full-time Immigration Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in removal defense. This hybrid position combines remote flexibility with in-office collaboration in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in cancellation of removal, asylum, VAWA cancellation, and other immigration matters.

• Represent clients in bond hearings.

• Prepare and file VAWA, U-visa, waivers, family-based petitions, and naturalization applications.

• Appear before EOIR, USCIS, and other agencies.

• Draft motions, briefs, and supporting evidence.

• Communicate directly with clients and prepare them for hearings and interviews.

• Assist the senior attorney with habeas corpus petitions, appeals, and other complex cases.

• Coordinate and supervise legal assistants.

Qualifications

• JD and licensed to practice law in any state (Texas preferred).

• Minimum 2 years of removal defense experience.

• Fluency in Spanish required.

• Strong legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines.
