Bilingual Immigration Paralegal (Fort Lee, NJ)
We are a prominent Immigration Law Firm located in Midtown Manhattan, with administrative offices in Fort Lee, NJ. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Bilingual Spanish Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in immigration law, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering top-notch service to our clients.
As a key member of our legal team, you will work closely with attorneys, clients, and government agencies to ensure the smooth and efficient management of cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in preparing, filing, and managing various immigration documents, including visa applications, petitions, and adjustment of status cases.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather required documentation, explain procedures, and provide timely status updates.
- Maintain organized case files, ensuring all paperwork is accurately filed and up to date.
- Coordinate with government agencies, consulates, and other relevant entities to facilitate case progression.
- Prepare legal correspondence, affidavits, and other supporting documentation as required.
- Provide general administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and tracking important deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency within the immigration practice.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience handling immigration petitions and visas.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and government officials.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all aspects of case management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
