Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with Immigration experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys by managing various administrative tasks, conducting research, and ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes. This role is essential for maintaining effective communication with clients and facilitating the overall efficiency of our legal practice.

Duties

Assist attorneys in immigration/asylum cases
Conduct thorough research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents to support ongoing cases.
Manage legal case files and maintain organized records for easy access and retrieval.
Prepare and file petitions for immigration cases
Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required
Minimum of 2 years experience working in immigration law
Excellent research skills to navigate legal databases and resources effectively.
Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
