The Senior Immigration Consultant will collaborate with team members and with stakeholders. This role will be the senior case manager for internal processing of immigration and visa caseloads for US employer-sponsored visa categories (e.g. H-1B, L-1, etc.).
Job Description:
- Serve as senior case manager for US immigration processing and visa cases.
- Schedule and meet individually with employees and managers to guide them through internal portals to
- Initiate and process non-immigrant petitions, including H-1B ports, extensions, amendments, and L-1 extensions/amendments.
- Review case initiation requests and employee documents in Capgemini’s immigration and mobility platform.
- Review the immigration case requests and determine the employee’s eligibility for the respective petition type based on the internal policies and immigration regulations.
- Guide the employees and managers on the immigration policies, eligibility requirements, and processes to be followed. Assist employees and managers to raise the case request in internal portal.
- Provide guidance to employees to provide necessary documents and evidence to support the petition process. Review all documents and information submitted by employees and managers to ensure they are accurate and meet requirements.
- Review LCA accuracy based on employee’s role, location, and employee profile.
- Provide employees and managers regular updates based on SLAs and team guidelines.
- Update internal HR systems and reports for accurate case statuses and internal reporting.
Qualifications:
- Must have expertise and deep understanding of US H1B, L-1A, L-1B, and other non-immigrant petitions.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in US employment-based petitions (e.g. H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3 etc.).
- Proficient in oral and written communication in English.
- Experience working with executive and managerial team members within the organization.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.06 - $30.00 per hour
