We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Contract Business Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in investor visas and will be responsible for providing legal advice to our clients on complex immigration issues. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-level cases in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The candidate will be working closely with our clients to provide comprehensive immigration services, including advising on the legal aspects of traveling, working, doing business, and living in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on immigration matters, particularly in relation to investor visas.
- Prepare and submit applications for visas, permits, and other necessary immigration documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and interviews with immigration officials.
- Conduct thorough research to support legal proceedings and to stay updated with changes in immigration laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement effective immigration strategies tailored to clients' specific needs.
- Liaise with government agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and U.S. Embassies.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their immigration goals are achieved.
- Prepare regular reports on the progress of applications and cases.
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be an active member in good standing with the American Bar Association.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business immigration law, with a focus on investor visas.
- Proven experience in handling complex immigration cases.
- Excellent knowledge of immigration law and procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong ethical judgement and commitment to uphold the law.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
