Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Immigration Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. immigration law and the ability to represent clients in various immigration-related matters, including family-based petitions, employment-based immigration, asylum applications, deportation defense, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on immigration matters
- Prepare and file applications, petitions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients before immigration courts, government agencies, and other entities
- Keep clients informed and updated on case status and immigration laws
- Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration law
- Manage caseload efficiently and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Active and in good standing with the NJ bar
- At least 5 years of experience in immigration law
- Strong knowledge of immigration laws, procedures, and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Multilingual skills are a plus
