A major firm in Detroit (our client) is looking for an Immigration Paralegal to join their team. Hybrid OK.
Will be filing various applications and petitions with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and other government agencies.
Varied responsibilities, including, maintaining database for timely filings, preparing and drafting applications and petitions (H1-B, TN, H-4, H-3, J-1), drafting letters, researching availability of foreign documents (i.e. birth, military, prison, and police records), and coordinating translation of foreign documents.
Experience with employment-based and business immigration is highly preferred.
