We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in family immigration, federal litigation, crimmigration, and removal defense. The successful candidate will represent foreign nationals in family immigration matters, waivers of inadmissibility, federal litigation and removal defense.
Duties
- Conduct legal research utilizing tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Draft immigration forms, and transmittal letters and oversee the creation of packages for filing either online or by mail for immigration processes.
- Represent clients in court proceedings and during negotiations, effectively litigating cases to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on various matters related to immigration law issues.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases while efficiently managing your own caseload.
- Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.

Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Two years of experience in federal court practice and removal defense litigation.
- Proficient in legal research tools including Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also managing individual responsibilities effectively.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
