Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our growing team, with at least two years of experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of client and to work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Qualifications:
· Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
· Active bar membership in Florida.
· 2+ years of experience in immigration law, particularly in drafting legal motions, appeals and waivers.
· Strong analytical and research skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication.
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
Key Responsibilities:
· Filing petitions, handling the adjudication process, and appearing before family court, immigration courts and USCIS.
· Manage a caseload efficiently of immigration matters involving federal lawsuits, including challenges to government action or inaction, administrative appeals, and constitutional claims.
· Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other documents for court filings and administrative proceedings.
· Conduct legal research and stay updated on immigration laws, policies, and case law and related immigration issues.
· Represent clients in hearings, interviews, and before family and federal courts when necessary.
· Collaborate gathering necessary evidence and supporting documentation.
· Maintain accurate records of case progress and deadlines.
· Fluent in English and Spanish.
