Description

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Paralegal to join our team located in New York, New York. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation, drafting, and editing of various immigration forms along with handling client intake. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the law industry.

Start Date: March 2025

Location: On-site Midtown

Pay Rate: $30/ hr.

Hours: Part-time hours to begin, then transition to full time hours.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of various immigration forms including Adjustment status forms, removal of condition, citizen forms, and employment authorization forms.
Handle client intake effectively and efficiently.
Utilize various skills including Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), Case Management Software, CompuLaw, Billing Functions, Briefing, Calendar Management, Claim Administration, Communication.
Assist attorneys in almost every area of immigration.
Ensure all client records are maintained accurately and efficiently

Requirements

Must hold a relevant degree or equivalent experience in the field.
Proficiency in Aderant software is required.
Demonstrable skills in Adobe Acrobat are essential.
Experience with the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) is desired.
Proficiency in Case Management Software is necessary.
Must have a strong understanding and experience of CompuLaw.
Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently and accurately.
Must have experience in Briefing and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
Strong Calendar Management skills are needed.
Should have a background in Claim Administration.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
