Fragomen Malaysia is looking to hire aHuman Resources Coordinatorto join the Fragomen APAC HR team.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager based in the Malaysia office, this role will provide HR support and delivery in operational matters covering the full spectrum of HR functions for theMalaysia and Thailand offices.
This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the APAC HR team on global HR initiatives, with a key focus in supporting the HR activities as follows:
- Employee Lifecycle:Support the local employee life cycle process, including recruitment support, document drafting, on-boarding and off-boarding activities
- HR Systems and reports:Ensure data integrity in HRIS (Workday), maintain employee leave and attendance records, and provide regular reports or other reports requested by management team or supervisor
- Compensation and Benefits: Coordinate and monitor employee benefits, payroll information, tax related matters and compensation reviews
- Performance Review: Align local Performance Management processes with Global deadlines, support employee queries and maintain staff performance records in accordance to local requirements and firm policies.
- Learning and Development:Support and coordinate global, regional and local learning and development initiatives
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to and monitors implementation of Employee Engagement & Development initiatives. Proactively identify issues on employee relations matters and support HR Manager in managing them
- Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including Partners, leaders, corporate teams, people managers, and employees
- Provide administrative and project support to Malaysia and Thailand office and team
- Expatriate Management: Manage work pass/visa application process end to end.
- Others: Supports other local, regional, and global projects or initiatives

- You are a strong, collaborative communicator – verbal and written – with good relationship management skills
- You have a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- You come with at least 3 years of relevant HR work experience in Malaysia
- You have a sound knowledge of the Malaysia and ideally Thailand Employment Law and HR practices
- You are detail-oriented, with an ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, and a curious mindset to continually look for and implement improvements.
- You have excellent organisation skills and is able to work as part of a wider region and global HR teams, as well as autonomously
