Smith Knudson LLC invites qualified, motivated candidates to apply for our Bilingual Immigration Attorney position. We specialize in immigration and naturalization law. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills and strong organizational skills. The applicant must demonstrate dedication to working as a part of a team and to the immigrant community we serve.

The duties include:

Representing clients at bond, master, and individual hearings in immigration court;
Representing clients at USCIS interviews;
Brief writing and legal research;
Analysis of the immigration consequences of criminal convictions;
Preparing affidavits and letters of support;
Managing a caseload including removal, family, naturalization, and other immigration-related cases; and
Working closely with attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff to provide excellent customer service.

Applicants must possess a JD and a license to practice law in any State. At least two years of experience practicing immigration law or criminal law and Spanish-English proficiency is required. Other language skills are a plus.
