Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Salary: Starting at $80,000

We are seeking a bilingual Associate Attorney who is eager to make a meaningful impact while developing their career through hands-on mentorship and courtroom experience.

Prior immigration law experience is not required—we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for advocating for immigrant communities.

What You'll Do

As an Associate Attorney, you will gain experience representing clients in a variety of legal matters, including:

Immigration Court proceedings
Immigration benefits before USCIS
Criminal matters, including felonies and misdemeanors
Traffic court matters
Client consultations and case strategy
Legal research, writing, and case preparation
Preparing applications, motions, and supporting documentation
Working closely with clients throughout every stage of their cases

This position offers meaningful courtroom exposure and the opportunity to work directly alongside Attorney Maria Ryan in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment.

Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin
Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong legal research and writing abilities
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate, professional, and committed to serving immigrant communities
A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
