Job Summary

The Immigration Associate Attorney at McBean Law will have the opportunity to join our smart, motivated and highly experienced Legal Department. The Associate will work in a collaborative environment under a Managing Attorney and Supervising Attorney. This position is well suited for an Associate who is passionate about changing lives, results-driven, and has strong interpersonal abilities to connect with our clients. Immigration associates at McBean Law work on complex family, humanitarian, removal, consular, and naturalization cases at our White Plains Office.

Qualifications:

U.S. JD or LLM required
Must be a member of a US State bar, NY license preferred
2-4 years of experience at Associate level at a U.S. based Immigration firm
Strong experience handling NIV cases and USCIS interviews
Ideally at least 1 year of Removal Defense experience
Ability to handle a high volume of clients
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of immigration law
Excellent written skills with specific experience in drafting waivers, memorandum of law and motions
Excellent verbal communication skills specifically the ability to handle high volume of client consultations and ability to convert cases
Dedication to exceptional client service
Demonstrated attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands
Ability to contribute to a positive work environment
Prior team management experience strongly preferred

The salary range for this role considers many factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to the individual’s skills, U.S. experience, qualifications, work location, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors noted.

A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current salary range for individuals able to work at our White Plains office is:

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
