We are seeking a motivated and experienced Immigration Attorney to join our growing and fast-paced law firm. Our practice focuses primarily on immigration matters, including Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) cases, removal defense, appellate advocacy, and family-based immigration matters.

The successful candidate will represent clients before Immigration Courts, USCIS, SIJ proceedings, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and the U.S. Courts of Appeals. This position requires strong litigation, advocacy, and legal writing skills, as well as the ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.

Immigration Attorney Responsibilities:

● Represent clients in Immigration Court removal proceedings.

● Attend USCIS interviews and hearings on behalf of clients.

● Handle SIJ-related hearings and proceedings.

● Prepare and file appeals with the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).

● Draft and file petitions for review and appellate briefs with the U.S. Courts of Appeals, including the Ninth Circuit.

● Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

● Communicate effectively with clients, courts, government agencies, and opposing counsel.

● Manage cases from intake through final resolution.

● Travel as needed to attend hearings, interviews, and court appearances. Immigration Attorney Qualifications:

● Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

● Active license to practice law and membership in good standing with at least one state bar.

● California Bar admission is preferred; attorneys licensed in other states are encouraged to apply.

● Experience handling immigration cases, including removal defense, SIJ matters, and appellate work, is strongly preferred.

● Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

● Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

● Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

● Willingness to travel when necessary.
