We are a Dallas based immigration law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to individuals, families, and businesses navigating the U.S. immigration system.

Every now and then we get clients that need local state representation. The Of Counsel Attorney will function as local counsel for the firm's clients in Texas state. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who wants a collaborative, flexible arrangement with an active practice. You will work alongside our attorneys, lending your civil litigation expertise to matters that require a Texas-licensed advocate.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as local counsel on state court filings, appearances, and proceedings on behalf of firm clients
Assist with civil litigation matters including motions practice, pleadings, discovery, and hearings
Appear in Texas state courts and before administrative bodies as needed
Review and co-sign court filings requiring a Texas-barred attorney of record
Support strategic case planning by providing local counsel guidance on procedural and litigation strategy
Maintain compliance with Texas State Bar requirements and professional responsibility obligations

Required

Active Texas State Bar license in good standing
Minimum 3 years of legal practice experience
Demonstrated experience with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas civil litigation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per hour
