About the Position

We are currently hiring a Supervising Immigration Attorney to join our in office legal team. This position is ideal for a skilled immigration attorney who is ready to take on a leadership role overseeing case strategy, guiding other attorneys and staff, and advocating for clients in high-stakes matters.

The role involves a blend of litigation, supervision, and mentorship, making it a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both courtroom practice and team leadership. The supervising attorney will work closely with the firm’s leadership to maintain quality standards, resolve complex legal issues, and foster a productive, positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage a personal caseload of diverse immigration matters, with a strong focus on litigation
Supervise and mentor associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
Review and approve filings to ensure legal accuracy and consistency with firm standards
Assist with developing case strategy for complex matters, including EOIR and USCIS filings
Conduct regular check-ins and provide feedback to legal team members
Support ongoing training and foster professional development within the team
Maintain strong client communication and contribute to a client-centered environment
Collaborate with firm leadership on improving workflow, best practices, and efficiency

Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in Texas, or immediately eligible for admission
Significant experience in immigration law, including removal defense and family/employment-based petitions
Demonstrated experience in litigation before immigration courts and agencies
Prior supervisory experience or leadership in a legal setting strongly preferred
Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to mentoring others
Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not required
