Immigration Attorney

Job Description:

Kyung Immigration Law Office is seeking to fill a full-time position immediately. We are looking for an immigration attorney with 2+ years of experience to work in our Sacramento, CA office. Our office focuses on excellence when assisting clients. We are looking for a detail-oriented, honest, and hardworking individual who is excited to join a growing team. Strong work ethic and a desire to serve clients is required.

Duties:

Case preparation/review (petitions/applications/responses/briefs)
Provide legal advice and tailored solutions
Client correspondence/consultations
Manage individual case load efficiently and accurately
Other tasks as assigned by supervising attorney

Your background:

J.D. from accredited U.S. law school
Admission to a U.S. state bar
2+ years of experience as immigration attorney/paralegal (document preparation, filings, and other immigration-related work experience); this is a position for those with experience in immigration only
2+ years of experience handling AOS, K-1, Consular Processing, Natz, U-Visa, I-601, VAWA, EAD, TPS, DACA
Experience with employment-based cases (PERM, I-140, H, L, TN, O, EB-1, etc.) is a plus
Experience with removal defense/EOIR is a plus
Strong command of English language
Able to work independently while open to accepting direction
Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both oral and written
Flexibility in fast-paced work environment
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent at multitasking and maintaining calm under pressure
Typing 65 WPM+
Spanish speaking not required but preferred
