Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a primary point of contact and ensuring proactive, timely communication regarding legal advice, case updates, and strategic consultations.
Develop and implement tailored immigration strategies for complex and unique matters, presenting clear and concise arguments to address client needs effectively.
Conduct consultations with prospective and existing clients to assess eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa categories, providing counsel at all organizational levels.
Prepare and file non-immigrant (L, H, TN, O, E) and immigrant (PERM, I-130, EB1A/B/C, I-140, I-485) petitions and applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to deadlines.
Conduct thorough research on technical immigration issues and stay informed on developments in immigration law and agency practices to provide innovative and effective solutions.
Oversee the preparation of case materials, including drafting and reviewing filings, legal documents, and correspondence, while ensuring compliance with legal and firm standards.
Organize and manage client files in the firm’s database, maintaining data accuracy and adherence to compliance protocols.
Accompany clients to interviews and in-person proceedings, providing guidance and support during critical stages of the process.
Identify opportunities to expand client engagement and contribute to business development efforts, including proposals, presentations, and identifying growth areas within existing accounts.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment, and ensuring quality and efficiency in casework.
Actively participate in internal and external professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the firm.

Qualifications and Skills:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree
NY State bar admission
1-4 years of business immigration experience, preferably with one or more specific areas of specialization
Demonstrated attention to detail and keen analytical skills
Strong ability to show initiative and work as a part of a team with both legal and support staff
Excellent time management and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
