We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Immigration Paralegal to join our legal team. This role involves supporting attorneys in various aspects of immigration cases, ensuring compliance with legal procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Immigration Paralegal will play a crucial role in assisting clients through the immigration process while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications.
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client needs.
Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports related to immigration matters.
Manage case files using iManage software, ensuring all documents are organized and accessible.
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records of client information and case progress.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their cases.
Prepare for hearings by compiling relevant documentation and evidence.
Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations that may affect clients.

Skills

Proficiency in legal research methodologies and writing skills.
Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective client interaction.
