Leading boutique immigration law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney for removal defense. We are a growing practice who needs a sharp, quick thinking, organized attorney who can manage their own caseload. We pride ourselves in being informative, professional, confident, and compassionate. If interested, will work on pro bono cases.

Requirements: For this position the applicant must:

Be bilingual (perfect Spanish/English) with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Barred in any US jurisdiction
Have at least one year of previous asylum and litigation experience
Be highly organized and attentive to detail
Be familiar with legal software and willing to learn how to use new software
Have solid skills and experience in handling both affirmative and defensive asylum cases, from start to finish, with minimal supervision.

Major Responsibilities:

Court appearances before the Immigration Court (EOIR)
Represent clients before U.S. Citizenship Immigration Services in naturalization and marriage interviews
Draft legal memorandum
Meet with clients in detention centers
Independently handle and manage high-volume caseload
Advise clients on legal matters.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
