About the Position

The Anderson Immigration Law Group is seeking a seasoned Immigration Attorney to join our Gulfport, Mississippi office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated legal professional with at least three years of experience in immigration law to become part of a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional legal team. The role involves direct representation before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the U.S. Department of State, including consular processing matters abroad.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, team-oriented, and committed to delivering client-centered service. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred. A current bar license in active status (from any U.S. jurisdiction) is required; licensure in Mississippi is a plus. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in removal defense, family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, waivers, and consular processing.
Prepare filings, motions, and legal briefs before EOIR, USCIS, and U.S. consulates.
Conduct client meetings and maintain consistent client communication.
Contribute to the firm’s collaborative environment.
Monitor and adapt to ongoing developments in immigration law.

Minimum Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
Active bar license in good standing (Mississippi preferred; any state accepted).
Minimum of 3 years’ immigration law experience including EOIR, USCIS, and DOS matters.
Professional fluency in Spanish and English preferred.
Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills.
Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload while supporting firm-wide goals.
