I’m reaching out regarding the immigration paralegal/ Law Clerk opportunities.

For the past two years, I have worked directly on U.S. immigration matters in a law firm environment, managing cases from client intake and document collection through preparation of filings, evidence organization, filing logistics, and ongoing case tracking. At Terkiana PC, I have supported a broad range of immigration matters, including adjustment of status, family-based petitions, employment authorization renewals, U-visas, SIJ matters, citizenship, asylum, and removal proceedings.

The day-to-day responsibilities included communicate directly with clients to identify missing documentation, explain case requirements, follow up on outstanding items, and provide case updates; review and organize extensive supporting evidence; prepare and proofread immigration forms and supporting materials for attorney review; monitor filing requirements and deadlines; maintain accurate case records; and coordinate work among attorneys, paralegals, and other support staff. I have also supervised paralegals and helped ensure that matters remain organized and moving forward despite competing deadlines.

I am particularly comfortable taking ownership of active matters rather than simply performing isolated administrative tasks. My experience with USCIS and EOIR matters has required close attention to filing requirements, supporting documentation, procedural developments, deadlines, and the accuracy of every component of a case before submission. I have also worked with case-management systems, including ClickUp, and am accustomed to maintaining detailed digital case files and task workflows.

My background also includes an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School and prior legal practice as a Litigation Associate, where I developed substantial experience in legal drafting, research, evidence analysis, client counseling, and managing multiple matters simultaneously.
