About
Arshita Aggarwal is a licensed Indian lawyer who drafts US employment-based and investor immigration petitions. She serves as Senior Legal Advisor to Singletary Law Group, a US immigration firm, and as a legal writer at Law Offices of Shawn Sedaghat, where she drafts EB-1A and EB-2 NIW petitions. Across EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW, EB-5 and O-1 matters, she has drafted over three dozen petitions to date.
On EB-5 matters, Arshita serves as lead source of funds specialist on I-526E petitions, including Regional Center investments. She traces investor capital through property sales, business income, gifts and loans, designs source of funds questionnaires and document checklists, and builds clear evidentiary narratives that connect each rupee or dollar to its lawful origin. Her background in banking, real estate and due diligence makes her especially effective with Indian investors whose funds move through multiple accounts, entities and jurisdictions.
For EB-1A and EB-2 NIW cases, she drafts the petition letter from the ground up. She builds the case theory, frames the beneficiary's work within the regulatory criteria or the Dhanasar prongs, organises the exhibit record and writes persuasive, evidence-anchored arguments that anticipate adjudicator scrutiny and reduce the risk of a Request for Evidence. Where USCIS issues an RFE, she analyses each issue raised, identifies the gaps in the original record and drafts targeted responses that address the officer's concerns point by point with fresh evidence and argument.
Arshita received her legal education at the National Law School of India University Bangalore, Queen Mary University of London and Harvard. Before focusing on immigration, she practised at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and served as Associate Partner at Fox Mandal. She is a Top Rated Plus consultant on Upwork, is based in India and works seamlessly with US legal teams across time zones.
