Associate Attorney – Immigration Law

Position Overview:
The Law Offices of Elsa Martinez, PLC, a respected immigration law firm, is seeking a highly qualified Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive immigration legal services to a diverse client base, representing individuals before USCIS, EOIR, and other relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise and represent clients in all areas of immigration law, including family-based petitions, waivers, removal defense, humanitarian relief, and related matters.
Draft motions, petitions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
Prepare clients and witnesses for interviews, hearings, and court proceedings.
Manage a caseload in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
Maintain clear and timely communication with clients regarding case progress.

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2+ years experience in immigration law
Admission to the bar of any U.S. state, in good standing.
Fluency in Spanish is required.
Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills.
Demonstrated commitment to immigration law and service to immigrant communities.
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience representing clients in immigration court proceedings or USCIS interviews

Pay: $135,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
