A Pleasanton-based fast growing immigration law firm has immediate openings for a paralegal to join our team. We specialize in comprehensive employment-based and family-based immigration services. The job duties and qualifications are as below.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and draft petition letters and other legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence, for applications submitted to U.S. government agencies.
Communicate with clients to gather information, assist with documentation preparation, and provide case updates.
Oversee case management from initiation to completion, including document preparation, form completion, organizing files, tracking deadlines, case filing, scanning, copying, and shipping.
Review client-provided and legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and relevance to ongoing cases.
Conduct legal research to ensure proper application of law in visa petition letters and other legal documents.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. university.
At least 1 year of working experience, including handling employment-based immigration cases (e.g., H-1B, O-1, NIW, PERM).
Strong writing skills and the ability to perform detailed legal analysis.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong grasp of the English language. Additional proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
