We are seeking an IMMIGRATION PARALEGAL with a very strong background in EOIR and USCIS filings. Join our dynamic law firm and make a meaningful impact on the lives of immigrants seeking legal relief.

Job responsibilities include:

-Prepare and file applications, motions, and other documents for EOIR and USCIS cases. Assist attorney with asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers, sijis and adjustment of status cases etc. Communicate with clients to gather evidence, affidavits, and supporting documentation. Conduct legal research and draft case summaries, briefs etc. Must have strong understanding of immigration court procedures and USCIS petitions. MUST SPEAK SPANISH FLUENTLY and speak English and have excellent organizational skills to manage case files. Collaborate with attorney and other staff to support case preparation.

We are seeking a person who is looking for long term employment and has a minimum of 5 years of experience in immigration paralegal work. You must, specializes in immigration and be able to file petitions such as...Sijis, Motions, U-Visa's, VAWAS, 601a, AOS, I-130s, asylums, and more without training. Prepare summaries, research results and conclusions, declarations etc. Knowledge on how to use Cerenade is a plus but not required. Takes initiative to research USCIS website for updates and changes in the laws, regulations etc. Comfortable meeting or talking with clients when needed. Double and triple check your work to make sure all is complete and accurate. Meet critical USCIS deadlines on RFEs, etc.
