Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys and assist in the efficient operation of our law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong legal knowledge and exceptional organizational skills. Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Assist in drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, contracts, and briefs - Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible - Maintain document management systems and databases - Prepare and proofread legal correspondence and documents - Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings for attorneys - Answer phone calls, take messages, and provide professional phone etiquette - Prepare accurate written summaries - Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, witnesses, and other materials - Collaborate with attorneys and other legal staff to develop case strategies and provide support during trials Skills: - Proficient in legal drafting and document preparation - Strong knowledge of legal case management procedures - Familiarity with document management systems and databases - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Experience Legal Research Understanding of contract law principles - Strong clerical skills, including typing, filing, and data entry - Detail-oriented with exceptional research and proofreading abilities This is a challenging yet rewarding position that offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of cases.
