Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with various immigration matters, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and processed efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, relating to clients and the public and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications for individuals and businesses
Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw and AILA Link
Filing of online and on paper immigration applications
Interacting with clients (but not advising law) to complete applications, in person and remote
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case status
Knowledge of English a must, plus one or more additional languages helpful
Manage project timelines and deadlines for various immigration cases
Draft contracts and correspondence related to immigration matters
Collaborate with team members to ensure all aspects of cases are handled effectively

Experience

Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in immigration law or a related field in the USA and/or Canada.
Familiarity with Clio case management software or similar
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
