Immigration Lino Callao, LLC is a local Montgomery County, MD, immigration law firm specializing in family immigration, humanitarian relief, and removal defense. We have a great opportunity for an experienced paralegal or legal assistant who needs flexibility to join our firm in a hybrid capacity.

Immigration Paralegal/ Legal Assistant Responsibilities and Expectations:

Communicate with clients in Spanish and English
Manage client case files and deadlines
Prepare client affidavits
Collect and organize supporting documentation and prepare USCIS legal forms
Assist with removal defense filings and motions
Assist with visa petitions and applications
Analyze case documents

Basic Qualifications:

Prior work experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant
Knowledge of immigration benefits, such as: visa petitions, status adjustments, consular processing, citizenship, and/or waivers
Spanish Language fluency
Has home-office setup

Job Type: Part-Time 1099 Position (with potential for full-time)

Compensation:

24$ - 30$ hour
5% commission for any eligible work you bring into the firm
