About the Role:

As a vital member of our team, you will work closely with U.S. immigration attorneys, supporting them in preparing and managing immigration cases efficiently and accurately. You’ll be trusted to handle a wide range of case types while contributing to the success and well-being of attorneys and the clients they serve.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking top talent who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

Language Skills: Bilingual (English and Spanish) with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an immigration paralegal.
Expertise: Proficiency in waivers, asylum cases, and family-based immigration. (Bonus: experience with business immigration cases, such as O's, L's, NIW, etc.)
Skillset: Organized, detail-oriented, empathetic, and trustworthy, with the ability to self-manage and meet deadlines.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like Docketwise, Slack, Clio, and Google Drive (or willingness to learn).

Efficiently prepare and manage immigration cases with precision and care.

Responsibilities:

Perform intake of cases once assigned - questionnaire and list of documents
Draft government forms
Draft legal documents such as Cover Letters, Declarations, and RFEs
Stay active in recording in our database
Consistent follow-up with clients and the firms we work with
Meet assigned deadlines
Communicate case progress, status, and any issues to your admin and the firms you are assigned to.
Demonstrate initiative and flexibility on assigned projects
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently
