Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Police Officer to serve and protect our community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and providing assistance during emergencies. Responsibilities
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws to ensure community safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents
- Conduct criminal investigations, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports
- Perform surveillance operations to monitor suspicious activities
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary to assist injured individuals
- Manage conflict situations with effective conflict management skills
- Drive patrol vehicles safely and efficiently during shifts
- Engage with the community to foster trust and cooperation
- Handle animals when required, including animal care and animal handling tasks
- Assist in loss prevention efforts and security operations at various locations
- Stay updated on immigration law and other relevant legal regulations
Qualifications
- Valid law enforcement certification or equivalent training preferred
- Experience in report writing, criminal investigation, or security is advantageous
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, surveillance techniques, and conflict management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Military experience or prior law enforcement service is a plus
- Excellent driving record with the ability to operate police vehicles safely
- Ability to handle animals compassionately when required for specific duties
- Familiarity with immigration law and loss prevention strategies is desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $54,600.00 - $56,784.00 per year
