IMMIGRATION PARALEGAL $72k to $86k

A fast-paced corporate immigration practice is seeking an experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys with a diverse caseload of employment-based immigration matters. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with H-1B, E-2, L-1, PERM, I-140, and I-485 filings and be comfortable managing cases from intake through completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage business immigration cases from initial intake through filing.
- Work directly with clients to gather required information and documentation.
- Prepare immigration forms, petitions, supporting letters, and filing packages.
- Assist with H-1B, E-2, L-1, PERM, I-140, and I-485 matters.
- Assist attorneys with Requests for Evidence and other case-related matters.
- Conduct basic legal research regarding changing immigration requirements and procedures.
- Finalize documents following attorney review.
- Monitor filed applications and petitions and maintain accurate case records.
- Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting strict deadlines.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with billing protocols and ensure applicable billing guidelines are followed.
- Evaluate cases and assist attorneys with case strategies and solutions.
- Provide guidance and training regarding immigration processes and case-management systems.
- Stay current on immigration regulations, filing procedures, and government requirements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of business or employment-based immigration experience; 5–7 years preferred.
- Experience handling H-1B, E-2, L-1, PERM, I-140, and I-485 matters.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple attorneys.
- Comfortable managing a high caseload in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard word-processing tools.
- Experience with immigration case-management platforms such as LawLogix, INSZoom, or ImmigrationTracker is preferred.
- Ability to proactively and professionally interact with clients on a regular basis.
