Position: Business Immigration Paralegal
Location: In Office or Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Language: Fluent English required. Spanish preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file employment-based and business immigration petitions and applications.
- Manage cases from intake through filing and post-filing follow-up.
- Prepare petitions for nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories, including:
- E-2 Treaty Investor Visas
- H-1B Specialty Occupation Petitions
- L-1 Intracompany Transfers
- TN Professionals
- O-1 Extraordinary Ability
- EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 employment-based petitions
- PERM-based filings (experience preferred)
- Draft support letters, legal documents, and client declarations.
- Review supporting evidence and organize exhibits for submission.
- Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, and attorneys.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely, accurate filings.
- Stay current on USCIS regulations, policy updates, and business immigration procedures.
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal departments to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of hands-on experience in U.S. business immigration.
- Strong knowledge of USCIS business immigration processes and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience preparing E-2, H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, and employment-based immigrant petitions.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a high-performing team.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.
