Position Overview
An established civil litigation firm in downtown McAllen is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join its active personal injury and insurance litigation department.
This position is intended for a highly organized and experienced professional capable of stepping into a substantial litigation-management role within a fast-paced plaintiff’s practice. The firm is currently navigating a departmental transition and is seeking someone who can integrate quickly, assume responsibility confidently, and help maintain the continued efficiency and organization of the litigation department.
To facilitate a smooth onboarding process, the outgoing department supervisor will remain available during the transition period to assist with orientation, procedural guidance, and active-file background. The ideal candidate, however, should be comfortable operating with a high level of independence, initiative, and autonomy.
This role focuses primarily on litigation operations and case management rather than pre-litigation intake. The firm already maintains support staff in both litigation assistant and pre-litigation assistant roles. We are specifically seeking a candidate with the experience and leadership ability necessary to oversee workflow, manage deadlines, coordinate litigation activity, and help ensure matters continue progressing efficiently and proactively.
