Responsibilities
Team Summary:
The AMS Work Visa team is dedicated to ensuring compliance with U.S. immigration laws and regulations across the Americas region. We manage vendor relationships, oversee immigration case workflows, and support employees throughout their visa and work authorization processes. Our team collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate documentation and uphold the integrity of all immigration-related activities.
We are seeking a proactive Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) Program Specialist to support U.S. employment-based programs for both local hire and mobility populations. This role serves as the program-facing POC responsible for case progression, employee and stakeholder alignment, policy documentation, and program quality oversight. The ideal candidate combines strong regulatory understanding with structured communication and vendor management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
US Employment-Based Non-Immigrant Visa Program
- Manage the full lifecycle of U.S. employment-based Non-Immigrant Visa, H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, H-1B1, and related NIV cases.
- Conduct visa feasibility and establish structured pre-move immigration review mechanisms.
- Mitigate risks related to business travel, short-term assignments, remote work across jurisdictions, and location-based work authorization.
- Provide clear guidance on eligibility, timelines, documentation requirements, and status implications, based upon guidance from counsel.
- Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition on sponsorship decisions, amendment triggers and structure compliant mobility solutions.
- Manage escalations and complex individual scenarios.
- Develop clear communication templates, FAQs, and policy guidance materials.
- Ensure consistent expectation-setting throughout the case lifecycle and escalate risks when necessary.
Vendor Oversight
- Coordinate with immigration counsel to drive case milestones and resolve issues.
- Review key filing details to ensure accuracy and policy alignment.
- Monitor case progression and follow up on delays or quality concerns.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and drive continuous improvement.
Policy & Knowledge Development
- Draft and maintain internal NIV policies and sponsorship guidelines.
- Build scalable SOPs for intake, approvals, vendor coordination, and escalations.
- Develop FAQs, templates, and stakeholder guidance materials.
- Translate regulatory requirements into practical internal standards.
Program Quality & Risk Oversight
- Monitor case-level metrics (timeliness, RFE trends, denial rates).
- Support LCA compliance processes and record-keeping requirements.
- Identify compliance risks related to role, salary, or location changes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in the U.S. employment-based non-immigrant visa management.
- Strong knowledge of H-1B, L-1, TN, E-3, and H-1B1 visa processes.
- Strong follow-through and case ownership mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting both local hire and mobility populations preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple cases with competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $91440 - $220400 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
