Latitude is seeking an entrepreneurial business immigration attorney to launch a new Arizona ABS law firm. This role requires an attorney with deep immigration law experience who wants the dual responsibility of advising and representing clients while developing and leading a new ABS law firm, with the benefit of having support from a global corporate entity.
This is a senior-level role that requires an attorney interested in combining their legal acumen with their leadership, client service and business development skillsets. Candidates should be interested in growing and scaling a new immigration law firm, helping to develop best practices and processes for client and case management as well as recruiting and building a team, all while continuing to provide outstanding client service. This is a hybrid role, but candidates must be eligible to practice law and reside in Arizona.
- Requirements for the Immigration Attorney:
- 5+ years of recent experience in U.S. business immigration law, including:
- advising on a broad range of matters including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-3, PERM, I-140 and Adjustment of Status matters as well as I9 and related compliance matters
- Drafting and submitting petitions to USCIS, DOL and other agencies
- Deep knowledge of nonimmigrant and immigrant process
- Strong entrepreneurial skillset with proven track record of developing or growing a practice or client base
- Experience with managing a legal team and/or prior experience launching a firm/legal office is preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of technology platforms and in particularly immigration tech platforms is also a plus
- Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- JD from an accredited U.S. Law School and authorized to practice in law in Arizona
