Job Description
The goal of this role will be to help facilitate attracting the top talent and educating our customers on how to utilize the foreign national community. We're looking for a talented and versatile person to help us build our staffing solutions business with TEKsystems, Aerotek, and Populus Group's customers. This position is going to focus on helping this happen for the foreign national community by solidifying employment based visas, mainly H1 visas. Will partner with our customers on best practices, costs, and timelines of employees our foreign nationals. This role relies heavily on relationship building, communication skills and candor with the clients and consultants.
Responsibilities
- Act as a middle man between our customers and Populus Group’s internal immigration counsel on acquiring work authorization visas.
- Work closely with HR and Recruiting in hiring process involving sponsorship
- Review and assess all incoming requests
- Answer calls from customers and consultants to help with immigration matters
- Ensure all participants meet customer and governmental requirements
- Improve the flow of information to ensure accuracy of the individual's status
- Assist in obtaining documents necessary for work permit/visa application (birth certificates, marriage licenses, resumes, etc)
- Consult with outside immigration counsel for clarification on immigration issues
- Negotiate with customer and recruiters to establish rates, contract terms, and fees
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Approximately 2 years of work experience in HR, Sales or Recruiting
- A strong sense of urgency, initiative and competitive drive to get things done correctly, with an emphasis on working with and through all levels of personnel.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment with minimal supervision
- PC proficiency
- The ability to pay close attention to detail and sensitivity to timing
- The ability to support and maintain effective client-vendor relationships
- Good judgment and analytical abilities
- Great Customer Focus
- Conflict Management Skills
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills

Projected Budgeted Compensation
External Hourly Base Compensation: $24.04 - $26.44
Bonus eligibility up to $5,000
Cost of Labor Adjustment applicable in specific markets
