Immigration Paralegal needed in our New York office. The Immigration Paralegal plays a crucial role in supporting the Immigration practice group and boosting attorney efficiency by managing information and aiding in the delivery of legal services, including client interactions. This position demands a proactive attitude to ensure tasks are completed on time, exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to excel in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The Paralegal will be expected to track and record their own billable time. Minimum of three years' experience working with Immigration in a law firm environment.
Duties And Responsibilities

- Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and client processes
- Draft RFEs and PERM applications and audit responses, and drafting and filing large volumes of immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, including H-1B, L, O and E’s
- Assist with case administration for I-9 audits and Notices of Inspection
- Prepare and assemble binders for submission to the government and clients
- Maintain templates for submissions and ensure uniformity with filing
- Communicate with clients to receive case relevant documentation
- Copy, scan and upload packages for filing including all NIV and IV filings, withdrawals, and PERM applications
- Navigate the case management system to include updating of processes and information
- Prepare withdrawals and Premium Process upgrade requests
- Prepare approval packages to ship original approval notices to FN
- Add USCIS notices and other correspondence to files
- Track I-94 travel records
- Send calendar reminders regarding PERM expiration dates to appropriate team member(s)
- Process expense reports and invoices in ChromeRiver and coordinate check requests. Process and maintain conference calls and follow ups
- Assist with mail and correspondence, and ensure scanning and updating expiration reports
- Organize and schedule meetings, calls, and videoconferences for attorneys
- Receive and organize mail and government correspondence, to include preparing FedEx labels
- Other duties as assigned.

The expected salary range for this position is between $75,000-$85,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
