Our U.S. Immigration practice focuses on employment-based, investment-based, and extraordinary ability cases for executives, investors, entrepreneurs, and high-profile clients. This position is based in our Coral Gables office and offers meaningful exposure to real casework in a professional, team-oriented environment.
About the Role
This is an entry-level position designed for someone who is interested in building a long-term career in U.S. immigration law. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team. You will receive training, but self-management, clear communication, and initiative are essential for success in this role.
Fluent English and Spanish are required for this position. Applicants who are not fully fluent in both languages will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing immigration forms, evidence packets, and client-facing materials
- Maintain organized case files and track deadlines across multiple matters
- Communicate with clients in English and Spanish to request documents and provide updates
- Draft basic correspondence and supporting materials under supervision
- Conduct research related to USCIS, consular, and NVC procedures
- Support senior paralegals and attorneys with case preparation and internal workflows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR relevant professional experience
- Fully fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work full-time in person, Monday through Friday
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new software, systems, and workflows
- Proactive, able to take initiative, and capable of working independently without constant supervision
- Interest in long-term professional development in the legal field
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation package available after the eligibility period.
Full-time, in-office role, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a paid lunch break.
