Duties
- Provide legal counsel and representation in various areas of law, including but not limited to litigation, contracts, and compliance.
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials regarding case developments and legal strategies.
- Prepare for court appearances by organizing case files, evidence, and witness statements.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and case law that may impact client interests or legal practice.
Skills
- Proficient in legal research tools such as LexisNexis.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Exceptional research abilities to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategies.
