Brown Immigration Law is a national immigration practice devoted entirely and exclusively to the practice of US immigration law. We are dedicated, driven and passionate about our practice and pride ourselves on practicing in all areas of US immigration law with our work ranging including our employment, family and litigation groups. We started with a single office over two decades ago and now have five offices nationwide, including two in Florida (Orlando and Tampa), two in Ohio (Cleveland and Columbus) and one in North Carolina (Raleigh-Durham). Our attorneys are diverse, experienced and extremely collaborative between offices, which makes us a unique firm that prides itself on finding solutions and achieving results for our clients. Our Cleveland office is located downtown near the corner of Superior and West 9th and features a multilingual staff that is interested in creativity, achievement and ensuring successful outcomes for our clientele.
Your Mission
Get ready to work directly with clients from all walks of life helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate their immigration journeys. You’ll play a vital role in processing visas, handling green card filings, guiding individuals through the naturalization process, and representing clients in immigration court. You will have the opportunity to work directly with employers, large and small, as well as families, and individuals. Interested in litigation? You will have the opportunity to challenge the US Department of Homeland Security and practice before the Executive Office of Immigration Review and the Board of Immigration Appeals, through oral arguments, brief writing and trials. You’ll team up with our skilled Partners, Lead Attorneys, and support staff to transform lives by helping clients gain citizenship, reunite with their families, or avoid deportation.
What We’re Looking For
No prior experience in immigration law? No problem! We’re seeking smart, driven, capable go-getters who are eager to learn and grow with us.
Requirements:
- JD Degree from an accredited law school (or equivalent).
- Bar Licensure allowing the practice of law in any state.
Spanish or other foreign language skills? Not a requirement, but certainly a big plus! We have a huge and diverse clientele that speak any number of languages, including Spanish, French, Portuguese and Creole, among others. The ability to speak with a client in their own language is a significant benefit, but is certainly not mandatory.
