Job Summary:
The Finance Shared Services Center Financial Specialist will support the day-to-day operations of the finance shared services team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role will involve tasks across billing and accounts payable worldwide, contributing to the overall financial integrity and smooth operation of the company’s financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Checking & Billing Review:
- Check and review the billings prepared by business team according to existing client protocols and fee schedule.
- Liaise with internal teams to resolve billing issues on a timely manner.
- Assist team leader in preparing the billing related reports and analysis.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure all vendor and customer accounts are updated and reconcile discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and documentation.
- Assist in handling customer or vendor queries related to payments and transactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Above 1 year experience in finance, accounting, or a shared services environment (fresh graduates with relevant internships may also be considered).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols to perform routine assignments in functional area.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Mandarin or Thai language capability is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in finance shared services or an accounting role is preferred.
- Knowledge of billing, collection, accounts payable and other financial reporting.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Occasional overtime during peak periods (e.g., month-end, year-end).
