A well-established legal practice based in Lower Manhattan is seeking a dedicated attorney with 3–5 years of experience in immigration law. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocacy and committed to providing high-quality representation in both family-based immigration matters and removal defense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients at immigration court hearings and USCIS interviews
- Draft legal documents including briefs, motions, and appeals
- Conduct legal research and case analysis
- Collaborate with a support team while managing an individual caseload
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant immigration policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution
- Licensed and admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Proficiency in Spanish is required
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking under deadlines
- Able to work independently with limited oversight
- Comfortable navigating legal databases (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.)
Compensation:
$125,000 – $140,000/year, commensurate with experience
