Job Duties: Analyze and model existing business processes to understand and document current business procedures, identify and define engineering areas for improvement. Identify best practices and suggest ways to improve current practices within BAL’s proprietary software. Develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations within the product(s). Use modeling tools to diagram the current state of business processes as well as the desired future state. Create detailed Project Requirement Document (PRD) and translate it into functional specifications. Run scrum ceremony meetings such as stand ups, sprint planning, and sprint demos. Work with product leadership to turn high level requirements into user stories for sprint prioritization. Work with product leadership on constructing a product roadmap. Work with development team tech leads to create technical requirements into user stories. Communicate with external and internal clients on gathering requirements and change management when new features are shipped. Create product documentation, such as release notes, and diagrams. May telecommute.
Requirements: Employer will accept a master’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent discipline or related field and one year of experience in the job offered or in an analyst-related occupation.
